We are very excited to announce that Greg Davies, the award-winning comedian, writer and actor is bringing his A Work in Progress Show to The Exchange on Thursday 17 October 2024.
With a career spanning iconic TV hit shows, Taskmaster, The Inbetweeners, The Cleaner, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Man Down, his versatility extends from the lead role in Cuckoo, starring alongside Andy Samberg, Taylor Lautner and Andi McDowell, to the Doctor Who and Brassic Christmas specials, and hosting The Royalty Variety Performance to an audience of 152 million.
Davies’ highly anticipated one-off show at The Exchange comes before he heads out for the first time in seven years on his sell-out, stand-up Full Fat Legend tour in 2025.
Greg’s appearance follows other big-ticket names to perform at The Exchange, including Adam Hills, Ruby Wax, Stephen K Amos, Lucy Porter, Ria Lina, Chris McCausland, Shazia Mirza, Russell Brand and Manford’s Comedy Club, reinforcing our reputation as a top destination on the UK comedy circuit.
This year, legendary band Squeeze performed to a sell-out audience at the venue, ahead of their 50th anniversary tour, and returned to play a ‘secret fans show’ on 18 July. The Exchange has been appointed a NT Live venue (Present Laughter, featuring Andrew Scott on 19 September), bringing the best of British theatre to local audiences. Paterson Joseph, Wonka villain and Peepshow star is performing his stage production of Sancho & Me on 4 October.
