Our access policy

The Exchange is committed to making the venue accessible to everyone so they can enjoy the whole programme. We always try to accommodate access needs to the best of our ability whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.

Do not hesitate to give us a call on 020 8240 2399 prior to your visit so we can accommodate your needs.

Wheelchair users and visually impaired customers are entitled to one complimentary ticket for a registered carer, within our accessible bay marked J1 – 4 on the event seating plan.

Please note this is subject to availability and must be booked with a member of the box office team in person or over the phone.

Venue and theatre accessibility

  • limited parking spaces near the venue for Blue Badge holders
  • step free access from the street to the box office/ground floor of the building.
  • lift access to all levels of the venue
  • accessible toilets on ground, 2nd, and 4th floor levels
  • café/bar located on 1st floor, accessible by lift
  • 2 wheelchair spaces with room for 1 companion seat each in Row J Seats 1 – 4
  • Step free access in the theatre is Row J and the aisle seats are J5, J23 and J24 
  • All other rows in the Theatre do have steps up or down. From the entrance there are 17 steps down to Row A (front row) and 10 steps up to Row P (back row).

Toilets

There are toilets on ground floor of The Exchange.

Blue Badge parking

There are limited parking spaces near the venue for Blue Badge holders and there are public car parks in Twickenham within walking distance of the venue.
