Shakespeare's Women - 20 March 2026

Following on from two sold out readings, starring Tamsin Greig, at Shakespeare’s Globe last year, we were delighted to host yet another reading of this play by Lorien Haynes and directed by Jude Kelly.

The dark comedy transported eight of Shakespeare’s women from the 16th century to the modern day, placing them in the same domestic abuse support group. Centuries passed but little had changed as they came together to eat biscuits and talk. The play gradually exposed each woman’s darkest secrets and asked, what would happen if these protagonists survived their men and traditional narratives, to become flesh and blood today.
This play reading was in support of Refuge

SQUEEZE - 8 & 9 March 2026

We were delighted to host two warm-up shows for SQUEEZE ahead of their upcoming UK tour.

In our intimate, 300 seat theatre and two sold out performances on Sunday 8 and Monday 9 March, both nights were a huge success for the band and The Exchange.

The gig involved their first live performance of their brand-new album ‘Trixies’ followed by an encore of their iconic hits including Up The Junction, Tempted and Cool for Cats. Watch this space for anymore performances from the band.

One fan stated that “I’ve seen Squeeze live so many times over the years but this was the best gig I’ve ever been to“.

Statement from the band and crew:

“Thank you and the lovely team at The Exchange for looking after us. We had an incredible and productive few days and we will certainly come back again. We all loved it so much”.
