The iconic singer Horse takes to the road once more, including returning to The Exchange, armed with her album, The Road Less Travelled.
This album is a collection of 12 powerful songs packing a real gut punch, it runs the gamut of every emotion: from the raging banger Leaving, to the anthemic Superpower to the exquisite and fragile beauty that is The Moon and I. Horse has poured her very soul into this album.
The title is a perfect fit as it symbolises being on an unconventional or more challenging path in life. By example, she encourages embracing uniqueness and the courage to venture beyond the norm. She celebrates individuality and the boldness to forge one’s own path. Her music is her voice and by using it has also become a conduit for those listening.
This is a full band show, featuring songs from the new album and the briefest glimpse into the back catalogue.
A Horse concert is a little bit like having a warm and comforting security blanket wrapped around you
Southside Advertisier
She has definitely still got ‘it’, her energy never waning in a two hour concert which ends with a high octane encore and a deserved standing ovation

Kirsten Adamson
Award-winning singer/songwriter Kirsten Adamson (daughter of rock legend Stuart Adamson (Big Country, Skids) summons the same heart-stopping purity as Sandy Denny, by way of Emmylou Harris and Kate Bush. Since spending summers soaking up the atmosphere in Nashville with her dad, and singing on Big Country’s Driving To Damascus album, Kirsten has been steadily developing her own voice and songwriting, with indie folkers Aberfeldy, country rockers The Gillyflowers and Americana duo The Marriage.
Her second solo album Landing Place (2023) is a glorious powerhouse of emotionally charged, beautifully delivered songs that bustles and glistens with echoes of folk rock and country gems. It was launched at Glasgow’s Celtic Connections, an official showcase at London’s UK Americana Music Festival 2023 and a sold out UK tour in April. Adamson’s track My Father’s Songs has recently been nominated for an Americana UK Award for UK Song Of The Year 2024.
Adamson knows how to hold a crowd in the palm of her hand, her vocals are clear and powerful, her songs are strong, she is an all round entertainer
