St Mary’s University employs a small in-house team at The Exchange who manage the day to day running of the venue. Their roles include:

  • Marketing
  • Booking and managing shows
  • Looking after performers 
  • Managing front of house and ticket sales
  • Technical support and management for performances
  • Day-to-day maintenance

Job openings will be advertised here as and when they arise.

The in-house team are supported by the Friends of The Exchange – our team of local volunteers that help out on the night at our shows, helping to look after everybody and make sure our audiences have the best possible time.

Casual Front of House & Events Supervisor

We are now recruiting casual Front of House & Event Supervisors, who will be responsible for the safe and smooth running of individual public events, overseeing operational delivery. You will:

  • be the senior front of house person responsible for the event on the night / day
  • ensure that guests and artists receive a high level of customer service
  • ensure the building is safe and tidy
  • ensure volunteers, Box Office and Bar staff are fulfilling their roles as well as cashing up and locking up at the end of the day

Hours are flexible and you will be required to work on evenings and weekends depending on the event and booking schedule.
