The acts
Dr Matt Winning is a climate change comedian and expert environmental researcher at University College London. He performs live comedy shows about global warming at theatres, festivals, and events across the world, including at COP28. He hosted the BBC Radio 4 series “Net Zero: A Very British Problem” and has a TEDx talk about the importance of using humour to discuss the topic, a tool which he used extensively in his debut book HOT MESS: What On Earth Can We Do About Climate Change.

Jon Long is a stand up and musical comedian with an affable charm and host of acerbic songs.He is the writer and presenter of environmental magazine show Carbon Lifeforms on BBC radio 4, and provides tour support for Chris McCausland.
Ben Van der Velde is a stand-up comedian, actor, improviser and presenter. Over the past few years, has spread joy and nonsense to all four corners of the British Isles, as well as Greece, Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Norway. Outside the circuit, Ben has performed a voodoo re-marriage ceremony, founded the Church of the Holy Kazoo with comedy legend Mark Thomas, and walked the entire London Underground network to raise money for The Refugee Council.
